Intercab

Being without a car is a common lifestyle in Cape Town. I live, work and study all in a 4km range so I hardly ever leave the city bowl. I get around using cabs and use the same company every time. They know me well by now and I give them a lot of service, usually 2-3 times per day.
In the past few weeks I have experienced very bad service with them. They have made me late for work and college many times. I always call ahead of time or book a cab for a certain time and they usually take 10-15 minutes to get to me. However, lately they have taken up to 45 minutes to get to me which makes me extremely late for work, which is unacceptable in an urgent and demanding job which I will lose if this carries on, and for college which takes bites out of my attendance which is essential to keep up.
I can't be the only customer who has been messed around by the company so I wonder if they are planning on fixing it. Perhaps they have gotten more popular and need to hire more drivers or manage their routes better. I have spoken to the drivers about my problem but there's nothing they can do because they are just taking orders from the control centre. They suggested I talk to management which I plan to do this week. If this carries on I will have to switch companies and they will lose out on a lot of business.
